The annual MFAA Awards, unmatched in terms of integrity and prestige aim to elevate high achieving individuals and companies above their peers by recognising and rewarding those who have excelled and achieved great success over the past year.

Each year the MFAA reviews and improves the Awards program, processes and criteria to ensure the unbiased recognition of the best of the best in the mortgage and finance industry. This review is based on response to industry, participant and judges feedback and is part of MFAAs ongoing commitment to keep the Awards program (and judging criteria) relevant, fair and in-line with industry requirements.  

How do the MFAA Excellence Awards work?

Step 1: Make a nomination.
Complete the online nomination form. If you're making more than one nomination, you must complete a separate form for each nomination.

Step 2: Accept or decline the nomination
Once the online nomination has been checked, verified and processed, an email will be sent within 3 working days to the nominee, or, to the primary contact/representative (if a company nomination has been made) asking them to accept or decline the nomination. 

Step 3: Complete a written submission answering the Awards entry criteria
Once a nomination has been accepted, a confirmation email including a link to the submission criteria for that specific award will be sent within 3 working days to the nominee, or, to the primary contact/representative (if a company nomination has been made).

Step 4: Judging of written submissions
All written submissions received by the deadline will be judged by an independent panel of business professionals who have expert experience in the mortgage and finance industry. The judging panel have no conflict of interest with the MFAA and do NOT include any; MFAA staff, Board, council or committee members or sponsors.

Step 5: Finalists announced
All entrants (those who completed a written submission by the deadline) in the Awards will be notified by email if they have or have not, made the finals after judging. The finalists will also receive a phone call.
